Re: SCT013 Current measuring with esp
Bumping this topic ;) , I want to measure/calculate AC power usage with my ESPEasy. I found out this article: http://www.homautomation.org/2013/09/17/current-monitoring-with-non-invasive-sensor-and-arduino/ It's using a Non-invasive AC Current Sensor (type SCT-013-000 like in this topic title). Re: Deep Sleep mode
Hi, I don't have experience with the deep sleep mode on the ESP, so my question, can I build a wireless battery powered door ringer by putting the device in deep sleep? Activating it by the door ringer (push button?). I guess door ringer connected to RST? when booting up, send whatever signal and g...

Re: SCT013 Current measuring with esp
maybe read the SCT031 with the ADS1115 supported by ESPEasy? SCT013 can be used with ESP8266 with proper voltage divider, you can add ADS1115 if you need to read multiple analog sensors. This is one of the project I'm working with but as not enough time I'm not advancing at right speed... :( Nice t...

Re: AC Dimmer for ESPeasy
I have made an ESP8266 AC dimmer with an Atmega328 for phase control. Next week I will post the schematic and code on my website http://www.van-gennip.com An ESP8266 runs on ESPEasy firmware and i have made a plugin that talks I2C to the Atmega328. It is similar to the pro mini extender, but my Atm...

Re: AC Dimmer for ESPeasy
Anyway the MDPMV4 shoudl work with ESP8266 without any issue as the zero crossing detection has been implemented in its hardware. As far as I can read the microcontroller needs to send only a control signal to control the duty cycle and not bother anymore with ZC and interrupts... I did not test an...

Hi, I'm looking for the same.
Did you order that dimmer? Did some testings?
Thanks!

AC Dimmer for ESPeasy
Hi Guy's Are there some of you familiar with AC dimmers and ESPeasy? I don't mean the low voltage DC led dimmer like H801, but the normal household AC voltage :) . I found a project around with phase detection mpdmw4 project, http://www.esp8266-projects.com/2016/04/mpdmv4-mains-dimmerswitch.html I w...

Re: Important notice for all 512kB ESP module users
I just finished uploading the latest firmware. It compiles fine and I am able to upload. The only problem I see now is, it does not stores the device configuration. If the ESP loses power or reboots, the devices configuration is lost and have to reconfigure. This is what the memory status is. ESP F...

Re: Hardware Support Request
found out that the HC-SR501 is not that stable if used on 3.3V (I think it's restarting each 10sec).
Working well if VCC is getting 5V.
