Alecto SA-33

#1 Post by debink » 03 Jan 2017, 15:29

I have some Alecto SA-33 smoke detectors which according to the supported device list are supported. However I can not get them registered in Domoticz (they don't show up in the (unknown) device list when I push either the test button or the learn button) I have two other smoke detectors (FA20RF ) and they are working perfectly. Is there something extra I need to enable for the SA-33 to be detected/visible?

Hi Debink,

I've the same problem. Did you found a solution yet?

Thanks in advance, Bart

NB: The AS-33 (I bought 3) is different form the Flamingo FA20RF (witch I already had). On the outside they look the same, but on the inside the layout en some of the components in the PCB is different. I tried logging the AS-33 on the RFLink Loader, bus as you said, no response in the textbox ... :shock:
Domoticz on Raspberry Pi 3 with RFLink Gateway (433 MHz en NRF 2,4GHz) and EnOcean USB 300.

If you get nothing in debug mode on rflink it's probably frequency coded and not supported by RfLink(actually the receiver module)

The SA-33 is supported but there seem to exist some variants..

Do you have an RTL-SDR Adapter? If so, you could check the frequency. Maybe it is on 868MHz?
Can you upload a photo of the module?

Hello,
Googling the internet i found this post.
I also have some SA-33 smoke detectors and also I can not get them registered in Domoticz.
I'm using an RFlink with fimrware 48.4

As xztraz suggested i tried the debug mode in the RFLink loader tool. I got response in the log window, but it doesn't make sence to me.

Code: Select all

10;rfdebug=on;
20;0A;RFDEBUG=ON;
20;0B;DEBUG;Pulses=150;Pulses(uSec)=810,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,1770,900,1770,900,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,1770,900,810,4080,810,3900,3660,3720,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,1770,900,1770,900,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,1770,900,810,4080,810,3900,3660,3720,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,1770,900,1770,900,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,1770,900,810,4080,810,3900,3660,3720,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,1770,900,1770,900,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,750,1950,1770,900,810,4080,810,6990;

Hi,

I also have 3 Alecto SA-33 Smoke detectors. V1.1 PD:1115. I was hoping to get them visual in Domoticz but no luck so far. I pushed the test button on the master, went through a hell of sound, but it does not show up at Domoticz. Anyone who has this working out there with some advice?
I did connect them together using the learn button, thats working, tested them also. RFLink R48. Domoticz is latest stable version 3.8153.

Make a bit longer debug log triggering the device a few times and mail that to frankzirrone@gmail.com
