R41 AlectoV1 issues
Hi,
After some days of having R41 up and running in conjunction with a WS3500, I see that the wind issues seem to be solved, but there is something going on with temp and humidity.
When RH >= 98% no readings are send to Domoticz, until RH drops under 98%.
On my WS3500 station I see RH 0f 99% and the temperature rises from 8.8 to 9.1 degrees.
During the same time interval, I see on Domoticz 98% and 9 degrees, fixed. The Domoticz Log function shows no temp/RH readings.
Yesterday I saw that measurements resume when RH drops below 98%.

Hi,
Currently it is programmed in such a way.
High humidity values are seen as errors and rejected in that case only the temperature is given.
I guess one could argue about what value would be the limit. Currently only values below 99 are accepted.
This is based on the specifications of the sensors:
SPECIFICATIES WS3500
meetbereik binnentemperatuur: 0°C ~ +50°C (32°F ~ 122°F) resolutie: 0.1°C (0,2°F)
meetbereik buitentemperatuur: -20°C ~ +60°C (-4°F ~ 140°F) resolutie: 0.1°C (0,2°F)
meetbereik luchtvochtigheid: 20% ~ 90% relatieve vochtigheid resolutie: 1%
etc.
According to the manual it would never be above 90...
I could make a change to accept values below 101.
But check your manual, is it really providing humidity values up to 100%?

Re: R41 AlectoV1 issues
I will check the manual, but I see values up to 99%.
However, I think I can live with 98, but temp readings are also not given, when RH >=98%

Re: R41 AlectoV1 issues
Hmm.. Domoticz might make a different device if it receives for just the temperature

Re: R41 AlectoV1 issues
It does. Domoticz needs both values. So, why not send a fixed 98 figure?Stuntteam wrote:Hmm.. Domoticz might make a different device if it receives for just the temperature

I checked the manual of my WS3500. Its range for HR is 20%-99%, where it transmits 20% for values below 20% and 99% for values above 99%.

Re: R41 AlectoV1 issues
Ok, will fix that asap.

@Stuntteam
I think there is also an issue with the rain sensor. Readings seem to be a factor of 10 to low. Instead of 1.2 mm/hr I see 0.1.
