Why different codes in debug log on Watts Clever Sockets

#1 Post by digger » 28 Aug 2016, 03:50

Hi all,

Just trying to understand how it all works. I have some watts clever power sockets, which I think are unsupported (unless after a different name).

http://www.wattsclever.com/gb/products/easy-off-sockets

What I don't understand is that when I run the debug and grab the data transmitted from the control button/s, the received data will vary from push to push from the same button, even though the socket 1 "on" button has one purpose and that is to turn on the socket. Because of this it is recognized as different products as well.

Is this an expected outcome for a non-supported device or does the different received codes indicate an issue with my RX board due to noise or such? Just trying to understand why the code would vary?
