DC44 Friedland PIR

#1 Post by dstewart275 » 24 Sep 2016, 21:15

Hello,

I'm new to RFLink, but loving it. Amazing piece of work combined with Domoticz on Raspberry Pi.
Almost everything expected is working fine. I live in an area that seems very congested in 433MHz - if i put the unit into debug the data just flys past!
Anywho.. the only issue i'm having is with newly purchased DC44 PIR (which I understand to be the same as DC4 but sold separately in twin pack... they're on ebay for about £10)
The DC4 is listed as supported on RFLink, does that mean it will automatically appear in Domoticz Log/Devices when enabled? What type of switch would it appear as? Friedland?

I'm not seeing it currently in Domoticz, and if it put the RFLink into debug its impossible to isolate any received data from the DC44 PIR actions

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks for the great work on this project everyone.

Duncan

Hi,

There is no need to grab the exact packet yourself.
Make a debug log for a couple of minutes and make sure the PIR has detected movement during that time.
Send the log by mail to frankzirrone@gmail.com
So that we can check it..
