Somfy wall socket switches (3x) E200 RTS F-TYPE
By example of this French page, using the RTlink on its console, I can fully control my Curtains and wall sockets. I seem to have no trouble with the slight frequency difference (433,42 vs 433,92) of the Somfy's, all commands from the RTLink to the devices are executed reliably. (receive from Telis 4 RTS remote is less reliable, but that worries me less)
When connecting the RTLink to the Domoticz it breaks down. The log hints that the issue is that the Domoticz sends " ON/OFF" rather then "UP/DOWN".
HOWEVER, looking more closely, I now suddenly notice that RTLink supports both command sets, but uses the ON/OFF the wrong way around !!
Going back to the console for the RTLink I find that these commands work for my sockets:
Tested to both ID=0f040f (socket), and ID=0f010f (curtains)
Code: Select all
10;RTS;0f040f;1;UP # Socket comes on # Curtain opens
10;RTS;0f040f;1;DOWN # Socket goes off # Curtain closes
10;RTS;0f040f;1;STOP # Socket does nothing # Curtain continues
10;RTS;0f040f;1;ON # Socket *goes OFF* ! # Curtain closes
10;RTS;0f040f;1;OFF # Socket *comes ON* ! # Curtain opens
Anyway, on wall-wart sockets, ON and OFF are quite well defined, no ambiguity whatsoever, and currently clearly wrong. And also unlike all the Somfy motors the socket does not have a programming setting to 'reverse', so I cannot even fix it.
Not quite sure if this is a bug and if it can or should be fixed in the TRLink firmware, Maybe already too many people using it with the current meaning?
Anyway: specific questions to this forum:
- Is my thinking above correct, and is this a bug?
- If so, is the bug locked in (now a feature) or should it be fixed?
- If not so, what am I doing wrong?
- How many people are using Somfy RTS with RTLink (I believe its a fairly young addition, and I only found half a dozen threads)
And most importantly (the core question in fact):
- How to get Domonicz to start using OFF/ON rather then ON/OFF?
Thanks
Maurits
PS: the STOP does not seem to work at all.
