Let's Control It

Hi,
I use a Rflink with V1.1 R45

I try to send command to Smartwares radiator valve SH5-RDV-A
With the command
- 10;NewKaku;02a48800;2;ON
the valve does not receive it (i select rFS on the smartwares valve menu => it count down from 30 to 0)

A remote control smartwares SH5-TDR-A can be paire with the valve

When i connect the rflink to my windows computer, with the arduino SDK serial monitor i receive:

The Rflink can decode the signal of the remote control but it seems to send it not correctly.

Is it possible that the rflink does not send the same pulses as the remote control does ?

I am having the same problem. The radiator knobs can also be paired with standard KAKU remotes. So I tried to use two different remotes to test and got the ID's through RFlinkloader.

After getting the id's from the normal remote and from one of my generic KAKU remotes to Domoticz, I added them with the create RFLINK devices button and adding 20;4B to the ID. None of my radiator knobs was responding when the button in domoticz was pressed. They are however responding to both remotes if I press them.

To check if I did something wrong, I tried the same with with a KAKU socket switch. After adding the device with add RFLINK devices, I could turn the switch on and off.

Is there really nothing else we could do to make this work? It really looks like the Rflink is unable to send the right message to the devices and I would really like this to work.

I have try with KAKU command and "Create RFLink Devices" button, but i can"t pair with my radiator valve.

wich version are you wslotboom? Can you detail how you get it work ?

I couldn' t get it to work with the RFLink only the physical remotes were working. When I tried to send te same code with the RFLink, like you did, I got no response. Hope they can fix this!

Picked up another set to test.. we are looking into it

When i try to send with the RFLINK:
10;NewKaku;ID=02a48800;SWITCH=2;CMD=ON;

Response is:
20;01;OK;

But the swartwares radiator valve does not accept it:
The valve count down from 30 to 0 ....

The RFLINK seems to send something because the let on the tramsmitter command blink ...

It's the same with the OFF command:
10;NewKaku;ID=02a48800;SWITCH=2;CMD=OFF;

The command is not correct.

This is the right format:
10;NewKaku;02a48800;02;ON;

When i press "Create RFlink Devices" with the command below, there is no device created in device tab...

The Create RFLink Device popup requires the command format as received from devices..
thus this format:

I have one for about 1 year, and i never getting a successful peering, with many trying and different method.

I see lot of problem in many forum, did someone have getting success with peering it?
