Chain multiple commands?

#1 Post by Redferne » 07 Jan 2017, 11:39

Is it possible to chain multiple (serialize) commands to RFLink?

How big is the receive buffer?

How do I de-serialize the OK response?

Can I only send one command at the time and I need to wait for OK response before sending next command?

How big is the transmission delay?

Imperical test shows about one second per command?

What's causing this delay? 20 devices in 20s is quite slow.

I second that!

Also: Is it possible to expand the "OK" response with information where the OK response is for?

For instance: If I send a KaKu command

Code: Select all

10;NewKaKu;0000003b;5;OFF;
it would be nice if the response would be:

Code: Select all

20;0C;OK;0000003b;5;OFF;
Is that feasible?

Would be great with some feedback in this thread please.

Also there seems to be some repeating message filtering going on. If I press the same button on a Kaku 433 remote there is missing responses from RFLink, but I switch between two buttons quickly all responses are pushed out on the message port.

What gives?
