Marquant/Jula Humidity

#1 Post by pejo » 05 Apr 2017, 08:07

I have a bunch of Marquant/Jula sensors that are picked up by the RFlink gateway. My problem is that I get 2 devices in domoticz for each sensor. One with temperature only and the other one with Temperature and Humidity. From the org. indoor unit I can only see the temperature of the remote sensor, no humidity.

I think my problem is that the humitidiy value gets discarded by the RFlink software as when received it doesn't look like a correct humidity value. The temperature is received OK it it alters between updating the device with temperature only and the one with temperature and humidity.

Is there any way to exclude the humidity in the readings so I only get 1 device in domoticz with temperature only?

I think the RFlink software is interpreting the checksum as humidity.

I collected debugs from readings with and without humidity.

20;23;Tunex;ID=4001;TEMP=80ad;HUM=78;BAT=OK;
If I try to decode the pulses received from a reading the last 2 nibbles matches the humidity reading.

With humidity:

Code: Select all

20;23;Tunex;ID=4001;TEMP=80ad;HUM=78;BAT=OK;
0100		0000		1000		1111		0101		0011		1111		0100		1110
0x4		0x0		0x8		0xF		0x5		0x3		0xF		0x4		0xE

HUM=78=0x4E which is the 2 nibbles above.
Without humidity:

Code: Select all

20;0F;Tunex;ID=4001;TEMP=80af;BAT=OK;
0100		0000		1000		1111		0101		0001		1111		1001		0111
0x4		0x0		0x8		0xF		0x5		0x1		0xF		0x9		0x7

Doing the same calculation here gives us HUM=0x97=151 which is invalid and probably discarded
Does it make sense? Could this be the problem?
