433MHz vs 868MHz interference
Hi,
since 2 weeks i have an RFLink 433MHz (next to my RFLink 868MHz and RFXcom 433MHz) because i like the developments done on RFLink software and theoretical support of some PIR's i have.
THe RFLink 433MHz does not pick up much, but since i have it connected to my RPi, i noticed my RFLink 868MHz picks up much more data.
Could this be coincidence and due to an update or something?
Just now i noticed it pick up a lot similar to the RFXcom, see screenshot:

I don't consider it a problem, since when i want to add any sensors placed by myself, i know whether it is a 433MHz or 868MHz, but i do wonder if i can do anything about it.
Has anyone of you ever exprienced similar?
Kind regards
Jazzle

Re: 433MHz vs 868MHz interference
I That looks really strange and nothign like we see when testing 433 and 868 mhz together.
Did you set the USB persistent or could it be the USB is mixed up and you are in fact receiving data fro mthe 433mhz rflink?

Re: 433MHz vs 868MHz interference
How close are they to eachother?
It might be related to interference..

Re: 433MHz vs 868MHz interference
About 1 meter, I have tried multiple positions and (shorter) distances now but doesn't seem to matter

Re: 433MHz vs 868MHz interference
Yup, both as far as possible away from each other and the raspberry Pi, maybe 1m20. Is this too close? I have ordered extra long USB a to b cable for the rflink arduino already

Re: 433MHz vs 868MHz interference
Main issue is that the Pi is creating a fair bit of noise.
Power supplies also often appear to do this.
1 meter apart is more than enough.

Re: 433MHz vs 868MHz interference
Longer USB cables have arrived, distance from each unit to the Pi is now about 80cm, this works. Now only rarely notice a double reading
