Question about NRF24L01+ PA-LNA version

#1 Post by xavtronic » 21 Jul 2016, 09:19

Hi,

I am interested to build a RFLink module to use with 433MHz module and MiLight (or mySensors when it will supported). I have already do a prototype last year ;) .

I have a question about the NRF24L01+ RF module.
Is it possible to use the version NRF24L01-PA-LNA (with antenna) to increase the range? I think it is possible to tune the RF register to increase the range. It is planned to support that or it is already implemented?
The power consumption is more than 100mA, it will be power with an external source and not the Arduino 3.3V output voltage.
I have search but nothing found about this possibility.

Regards,
Xavier

The PA-LNA version reportedly already works but i guess with regular output.
I just received a module to test so the idea is to add full support for it.
