Using ESPEasy to add WiFi connectivity to a Venta LW45 humidifier

In our appartment, we have an old-school Venta LW45 humidifier, which I wanted to connect to my smart home controller (OpenHAB). So I designed a nice interface PCB with an ESP8266-12 module to fully control the humidifier wirelessly.

As firmware, I'm using ESPEasy with a custom-developed plugin (P198 available in the ESPEasyPluginPlayground: https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEas ... _Venta.ino).


Without ESPEasy, I would have never been able to get the connectivity that easy! So big kudos to the whole ESPEasy community!
