not sure what is it exactly that you are trying to do.

interrupt : can be used in for example pulse device

delay: will delay in rules, similiar to arduino

exit event: use an empty event you refer to
Domoticz on Raspi 2 -- 14 ESP units (hacked Sonoff,NodeMCUs, Wemos, self-built units) running with RC140- Mega 2.0.0 dev8

Dear toffel969

Thanks for your help.

I am trying to control the speed of fan (dimmer) using the SCR with Zero Cross and NodeMCU.

I need to read the digital input GPIO and wait around ( 0 to 8ms) and activated the output GPIO.

For it Works, it is necessary that the Reading of input and activated the output must be faster due to the sincronized with Zero Cross ( Ac power)

Input Activated --> wait 4ms --> Activated Output (pulse) the fan is in 50% of speed

forget about doign this with standard ESPEasy, the only option (and I'm not even sure it can work due to the very small timing you need as 4ms) is to write your own plugin or better you own sketch if you don't need all the great functions ESPEasy has!
