Support for HTTPS / SSL

Hi,
I'm newbie with ESP and so far I've got control of the compile and flash process for my wemos (with the Arduino IDE). I read a lot of the C code as well to understand the architecture of the sw. Very nice work by the way.
I would like to use the rules and the "SendToHTTP" command, but I need support of SSL/HTTPS.
Is that possible to implement based on an existing library, or should I just forget about it?
I found Arduino library wifi101 but I'm not sure this is compatible with the wemos.
