(BUG) DeepSleep no ESP0 AP mode

#1 Post by illiac4 » 08 Oct 2016, 06:26

Hi.

I found a bug which causes that ESP goes into deepsleep even if the connection to wireless was not successful. This causes that you can not to connect to other Wifi if deep sleep is enabled because it first try to connect three times to the wifi, then it measures with sensor and after that it goes to deepsleep even if the connection to wifi was unsuccessful.

I think it create AP mode after three unsuccessful connections before going into sleep mode. So basically if there is no successful connection then deepsleep should be ignored, because at the moment if deep sleep is enabled then esp goes always into deep sleep and you are unable to connect it to other wifi because it never goes into AP (ESP0) mode.

Can this be fixed?
