ESP Easy light sleep mode

#1 Post by crispyduck » 15 Feb 2018, 09:08

Hi,

I am quite new to ESP Easy and really like the concept.

As I plan to use several ESP8266 I am trying to reduce the power consumption as much as possible.

I searched the forum and inet, but couldent find anything about light sleep mode on ESP Easy.

Is it possible to use light sleep mode in combination with a delay (e.g. 250ms) in the loop on ESP Easy to reduce power consumption?

When for example the ESP is only used for witching something or while it is in standby mode till its activated a small delay for a manual switch is not realy recognizeable.

This is also implemented in the Tasmota FW for Sonoff devices, and tests show me that it lets reduce the power consumption up to 50%.

Thanks,
crispyduck

I don't think lite-sleep is currently supported. You could request support for it on Github.
