Socket error on hassio - mosquitto broker

#1 Post by DragonFly » 05 Jul 2018, 08:50

Hi,

I started new project with some of the components being manage via Wemos D1 mini and ESPEasy,
During the test and seting it up havn't noticed any issue but after that on history charts it appears that hassio do not receive any updates from ESPEasy (D1 in my case),
I've checked the mosquitto log and it become clear that ESP lost connection with mqtt:

1530768906: Socket error on client D1_1, disconnecting,

After rebootion D1 i see in log that ESP reconnects but again lost connection after ca 10-20min.

I try to find some prompts in the web but all topics are closed :(

I do not want to go back to Tasmota (no problems with mqtt) as ESPEasy give me more adjustment possibilities for my sensors (DHT22/BME280)

I've just noticed that after mosquitto restart I get message:
.... : Socket error on clinet <unknown>, disconnecting,

Does it mean that ESP after a while trying to connect as anonymous ...??

Is it possible to force ESPEasy to use correct logging data (user/pass) ?

I'm using latest release "ESP_Easy_mega-20180625_normal_ESP8266_4096"
