Hi.

What is a "lwl topic"? I can't seem to find this anywhere.

It's the topic that the broker will publish if the client is lost (i.e. hasn't been in contact with the broker and no disconnect/sign off message has been sent from the client).

lwl = Last WilL

Shouldn't it be "LWT" for "Last Will and Testament" ?

No. That field is labelled, "Controller lwl tpoic"... There are 2 LWT fields there as well; "Connect LWT Message" and "Disconnect LWT Message". Also, it already publishes LYW messages at "/UnitName/LWT"
