Arduino Pro Mini, IR Led and ESP8266

Here we go my first topic...


I am trying to control my A/C and HeatPump using:

- ESP8266 generic module
- Arduino pro mini
- IR transmiter led
- ESPeasy plugin (https://github.com/ToniA/ESPEasy/blob/H ... pumpIR.ino)

I found a lot of tutorial using NodeMCU but I don't found (I tried it) about use ESP8266 and Arduino pro mini.

My question is ... is it posible to use Arduino pro mini to upload the sketch? It the answer is yes, How do I connect the ESP8266 to Arduino pro mini to send the HTTP command to the Arduino and send the IR commands?

I'm lost, may be my questions are stupid, but I'm still trying to understand this world.

Are you sure you need the Arduino board? We got generic IR plugins for the ESP.

Not, I'm not sure

But, How I connect the IR led to the ESP8266, has it a GPIO to connect any device?


And if I want to connect a IR Led, light led and DHT22 sensor?
