get Data from the Web and display it on OLED

#1 Post by dl5ark » 26 Jan 2019, 19:30

Hi,

is it possible to get status data from an simple *.txt file from internet to display in Line 2 from an Display OLED SSD1306? Line 1 is my local sensor and Line 2 should be a status page from the web. Alternatively the status Line 2 row can also be an reading from thingspeak. How can i do that?

Thanks!

Holger

The controllers are "publish TO" and not "fetch FROM" so no. But we totally get the idea and we've been thinking along those lines already. :)
