My question is:Temporary disable Deep Sleep via jumper setting
If 30 seconds is too short for you, you can use this method.
Disconnect GPIO-16 from RST and connect it to GND. Restart your ESP if neccesary.
Now deep sleep will be disabled and your ESP will function normally, until you connect GPIO-16 to RST again.
This requires ESPEasy v2.0.0-dev6 or newer.
a) Have I to connect GPIO to GND after disconnect from RST or
b) have I to connect RST to GND?
I understand the sentence like a) but think that b) must be correct.
In any case it seems to be an advantage to don't connect GPIO with RST fix to enable sleep mode but it's better to do this by something like a jumper, right?
Once again: Thanks for this great work in this project!
EDIT:
I think about use this for some ESP8266-01, so I have to do some soldering.
