ESPeasy timeout when not connecting to WIFI

#1 Post by rolfz » 19 Feb 2017, 11:46

Hi
I have an issue with an ESP8266 12E that has ESPEasy ver 120 on it. I Have one location that when door is closed has no good wifi reception. The thermometer inside that room that is in deep-sleep mode and weak-up every 10 minutes cannot connect to my router during the night. As it is powered by a 1 cell lipo, i get an empty battery the next morning. This is very probably caused by the ESPEasy trying to reconnect non-stop. A time-out feature would be great if it does not exist to repeat a connection every x minuted if a connection fails. Or is there already a feature like this or an other solution I could use ???
