MPU6050 [SOLVED]

#1 Post by hamster » 25 Feb 2017, 14:32

Hi, Please can someone help? I'm struggling to add a MPU6050
1. I downloaded the latest easy version - https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEasy
(this includes MPU6050's) https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEas ... PU6050.ino
2. Uploaded from arduino v1.6.11
3. Once online I found no dropdown option in devices for MPU6050??

I'm sure i'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to work it out?
Any one know? Many thanks

I also don't see the _P186_Ventus_W266 option or _P120_Thermocouple

Hello,

A week ago i got it working with the P118_MPU6050.ino from the playground. (compiled and uploaded with arduino ide)

Today i pulled this updated P118_MPU6050.ino and got the same trouble as you have.
As a workaround comment:

Code: Select all

//#ifdef PLUGIN_BUILD_TESTING
.....
......
......
//#endif
Already tested last week with this plugin and my washer and it seems to work well (although i have to investigate for best settings). :!: Thank you JustMe-NL for this plugin!

officially you would have to add

#define PLUGIN_BUILD_TESTING

to espeasy.ino to enable all testing plugins.

we still have to update documentation for this.

Your workaround should is fine as well if you only need this plugin.
