Devices -> Value -> Formula

#1 Post by onlize » 18 Mar 2018, 18:47

I am trying to understand how to convert output that I have in centimeter to imperial (feet) + inches. The example that I see is:
%c_cm2imp%([TaskName#ValueName])
I tried to copy it as is and it does not work.

Also, I tried this, but it does not work either:
%c_cm2imp%(%value%)
How should I use this formula? Can someone help me?

Thank you.

You can convert integers and floats into human readable information using these commands. These are not working in formulas since the output is a string and not a true float value. The intended use is in rules (Publish command as an example) and displays etc.
Sorry, I might need to move that to another section.
