Hello,
Sometime ago I've learned that the Philips Hue motion sensor also provides temperature and ambient light values to the Hue Bridge. So I wanted a small LCD display to display the temperature and Lux values reported.
After searching the wiki on Hue Bridge support, I could not find anything existing. So I've started to create a custom plugin to let ESP Easy connect to the Hue bridge using the Hue API.
Sample config screen of the plugin:
It uses the SSL connection provided by the most recent Hue Bridge firmware so the data connection between ESP and Hue Bridge should be secured.
You can setup up to 4 sensors to read into the task, but the plugin will also create rule events for any change on one of the sensors or lights defined in the Hue Bridge. Unfortunately we have to poll the bridge for changes, so there will be a delay based on the task setting "Interval".
