Hello guys - Noob from LA

#1 Post by CCameron » 08 May 2017, 21:32

Hey guys,

Had to stop in and do the basic introductions before I got lost learning stuff on some of the other threads. I am pretty new to most of this but I am getting into the raspberry pi 3 and I plan on running domoticsz on it. I'll keep you updated on what I learn, but I will probably learn most of it from here lol. Thanks for having me

Hi... on this forum you will find information about ESP Easy and RFLink. Starting point is www.letscontrolit.com. This will also point to the webshop.
Information about Domoticz can be found in the forum and Wiki specifically for Domoticz: http://www.domoticz.com/forum/ and http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Domoticz_Wiki_Manual.

A word of warning: once you get started with this stuff it tends to be addictive.... :D

You guys all seem pretty helpful already! Thanks for taking the time to send me these great resources, it'll be a great tool to help me get started.
:D I know exactly what you mean about being addicted to it, since I started traversing down this rabbit hole, I find myself thinking about this stuff almost every hour in some way or form. But I have no complaints, I am looking forward to learning as much as I possibly can
