Found board while looking for any info on ESP-32 and thermocouples. I had been planning to build a webserver based 4 channel thermometer for my meat smoker using my phone to read temps and time elapsed. I was thinking ESP-32 for wifi and maybe bluetooth connections. Well, as luck would have it when I tried to fire it up for my Christmas turkey, the controls wouldn't power up at all. So I guess I'll make it 5 channel and control the box temp as well. Guess I shouldn't have left it out in the rain...

I'm a former electrician and have been playing with Arduinos for a while as well as ESP12's ect. I already have a number of thermocouples and MAX 6675 modules so I just need to start playing. As a rule I always think anything worth doing is worth over-doing so, why not make it more difficult, right?
Actually I will start simple, box control and then add meat temperature probes and remote interfaces. I also plan to have other IOT items so this looks like a great place to find!
