HTTP GET Serial data to external server

I was wondering if there is a way to publish data gathered from the serial port to an external server which contains a php page that will handle the data. My ultimate goal is to read data from the P1 Port of my smartmeter and push this data via an HTTP GET.

I tried the existing P1 Gateway plugin in combination with the generic HTTP protocol, but this was not doing the trick. My next try with the Ser2Net plugin and the same generic HTTP protocol was also not doing what i wanted. Both rely on a client that connects to the esp easy node and from that moment they will push the data.

Before i start coding myself I thought let me ask my fellow tinkerers, maybe there is already a solution out there or a way of configuring the esp easy so that it will send out the data gathered and stored in the serial buffer to an external server.
