RFLink with NRF24L01+ change bitrate

#1 Post by Sijpkes » 09 Nov 2017, 16:54

I use the RFLink with NRF24L01+ to control my milight bulps

This works, but the reach of the NRF24L01+ is poor. I tried several things, but one thing that according to others should improve considerable is lowering the bitrate. I read this often in a NRF to NRF communication setup posts. But how does this work with the RFLink gateway with NRF24L01+ i.c.w. milight, is it also possible in this setup to lower the bit rate (to 250Kbp), or is the bulp preventing this ? In case it is possible, how can I change it via RFLink ?

Thanks,

Peter

Note that communications settings are already optimal. There is nothing you can change but also nothing you need to change.
If you experience issues, you might want to get a 24L01 module from another source as it seems that there are some really bad clones around.
For example, we have heard about issues with pairing to some Milight bulbs that were solved by exchanging the NRF.

I read this topic. I use now 6 bulbs to test Milight with RFlink and NRF24L01+ module.
When i turn them on in a group scene in domoticz everything going well.
When i turn them off sometimes it skip a bulb randomly.

I see that RFlink send all the commands serial but the sometimes the bulb does't receive it.
Can you change the speed of sending signals so all the command will send and there is time to receive them well by the bulbs?
