Can't PUBLISH at System#Boot

#1 Post by waspie » 05 Mar 2018, 13:31

I had been publishing several MQTT topics at System#Boot and it was working in builds from january but recently (late feb, early march) things will no longer publish at boot.

I watched over serial and it seems to subscribe some short amount of time after system boot but too slow to run them right away.
I now run them out of a timer that runs ~7 seconds after system#boot and that's fine, I'm mostly asking if that was changed on purpose or if something is "broken." also, maybe someone else will read this and it may be helpful to them.

thanks

Hi
Take a look at this one
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4989
Publish is running BEFORE connect to the MQTT Broker.

Please have a look at pull req. https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEasy/pull/1032
It should be included in the next build, which will be made in about 4 hours from now.

Please test to see if things work like desired.
Also the number of seconds awake can be set (0 => sleep disabled) between deep sleep periods.
