Sending Data to InfluxDB Cloud

Has anyone got espeasy to send sensor data to InfluxDB cloud successfully? I have been trying with rules and HTTP Advanced and am only getting connection errors.

Do they need HTTPS (port 443) or can you also use plain HTTP?
HTTPS is not yet supported.

Looks like its https. I'm going to try to setup the influxdb locally and send sensor data vis UDP

Not sure if UDP would be easier to use by ESPEasy.
If you can do using GET arguments in a HTTP call, I guess that would be the easiest from ESPEasy.
