Sonoff MS01 value

#1 Post by Micha_he » 12 Apr 2024, 19:59

I've tested a Sonoff MS01 with the latest release.
But I didn't get any humidity-value and a temperature from ~28000 !?

Is this the raw-value from the sensor and the plugin isn't work/calcutate the temperature-/humidity-value?

Tested with "ESP_Easy_mega_20240331_normal_WROOM02_2M256.bin" image.

It looks like ESPEasy provides the raw measurement value indeed, but looking at the Tasmota code, where the ESPEasy code is based on, they don't provide a temperature value but 0. Don't know why the raw value is provided here, but I suggest to ignore it, as it isn't useful.
The humidity is calculated from that raw value, so I'd expect some useful data there, but you may need a couple of decimals for usability.

I didn't understand you completely. With decimals you mean the decimalplaces of the value? The are no decimalplaces!

It looks, that the (from plugin) calculated value (sensor at air) is <0.
If I put it in the ground, I get a humidity-value. A little low, but it works.
