Max7219?

Hi,

Playing around with a Max7219 8 digit LED display driver & LEDS, using the ESPEASYreadthedocs page as my reference.

I don't see a way to blank the display, am I missing it somehow?

I see the 7doff turn off the display, but that is not what I want. I want to send the active display, a 'display all 8 digits blank' command.

Is there such a thing?

Have you tried the 7dtext," " command, effectively 'spacing' out any content?
