Repetition or loop in rules

Hi.
I'm using a time triggered rule to switch on an ir controlled LED ceiling lamp.
That works great so far.
But instead of switching the lamp just on, I'd rather like to dim it up slowly.
To do that I'd have to send the "increase brightness" ir command several times (80 times, precisely).
The space for writing rules isn't nearly big enough to hold 80 irsend commands, so I need some method to repeat the same command, with some delay in between.
Is there already a method for that?
