Hi Guys,
I've been looking at these since they came out, but I live in the UK and we don't have Live and Neutral in the wall switch socket. Has anyone found a way to run these in the UK?

Re: Only publish on change
You can always use the LEVEL plugin from the playground with regards to the publish, it should only send the changes unless you have set the DELAY variable in the device. This will send out the status every (60) seconds for example if the delay is set to 60. This is useful to initialise items after ...

Re: Displaying values from MQTT in LCD display?
Hi.
Search for 'MQTT Import'. It's an add-on which allows you to subscribe to MQTT topics and use them locally.
I use it to bring up a Temperature Setpoint on an OLED display for a heating controller.

Re: Nextion display plugin
Hi everyone. So glad this has been developed. I am going to replace my previous incarnation of Heating Thermostat (using a sonoff TH) with this Nextion. I have used Scargills PCB and screen design (modified) with a relay board and small PSU from a phone charger. The advantage of Scargills board is t...

Re: Nextion display plugin
Hi Everyone. Really pleased to see this topic getting some hits. As BertB says the Nextion is programmable and you set buttons to do things like send a string to the serial port. It also receives data and changes values / image states, etc. to make the display seem interactive. Basically what we nee...

Re: New ESP gadget
Hi all. I'm using lots of these Sonoff devices (4 and 5 pin) and for the most they have been solid little machines. However after months of running OK, one by one they stopped responding to MQTT and I had to reboot them. All of them. Is there a counter, or memory leak or something that would cause t...

Thanks, but that only seems to read the serial data. Am I missing something, or is there already a possibility to send serial data?

Can I bump this because I would really like to use ESPEasy instead of another software.
Is there an existing addon which can send / receive serial data and process commands like GPIO/12/1, etc

Re: New ESP gadget
Look forward to the breakdown! Have they said when they will produce a UK version? Have no idea unfortunately, I can try to contact them, but I have no affiliation, so my luck in getting a reply as good as anyone's. But as I actually need an UK ver. myself I'll give it a go and post back. Just got ...

Re: New IR Device
So for anyone interested: - I bought one of these and although it looked (from the images) like it had an ESP inside, in was in-fact a much more powerful Marvell® 88MC200 Microcontroller. No good for this forum, however the LED arrangement and small form fact means that I may dismantle (break) the m...

Re: OLED Scrolling Display
Hello everyone. I love this plug-in and I would also like to know if you can post a value to a particular row. I have a heating control which scrolls between Current Temperature and Humidity (local DHT11) but would like to send the Heating Setpoint value (Temp) to another scrolling screen. So it wo...

Re: MQTT Import
Hi. Is there a way to subscribe to topics on the MQTT broker as set in the config area of ESPEasy? I want to display a temperature 'Setpoint' as defined in OpenHAB (published to Mosquitto) on an OLED screen attached to my ESP8266. Is it simply a matter of adding the broker to the subscribe topic ? ...

Re: New ESP gadget
OK. I found a source for $7, including shipping. So unless I want to order 5 units this is cheaper. In Domoticz I was able to control the LED, and pick up on the pushbutton. So far so good. Now for the next step: can I control the relay and the LED from the same device? This would need me to put tw...

Hi. Yep, got one. Flashed it with ESPEasy R105 and it's now monitoring my Washing Machine, Laundry room temperature and Soon to be monitoring the incoming water temperature and a flood contact! Connected to Mosquitto MQTT broker and OpenHAB Works well and easy to connect to a PSU with the USB port. ...

Hi. Anyone had experience with one of these? http://www.banggood.com/Broadlink-Black-Bean-Smart-Home-Wifi-Remote-IR-Controller-Universal-Appliances-Smart-Control-p-1049494.html Looks from the images that it uses an ESP device. Re: Publishing GPIO state via MQTT on bootup and timer
Hi. I'm using v105 and there is the Boot State option on each Device and there is also a DELAY setting which is really a 'number of seconds between publishing the state of the device' Change it from zero to 60 and your device state will be automatically sent to the MQTT broker every minute. I use it...

Hi Everyone. May I suggest creating another Plug-in for the cheap 7 segment LCD / LED serial displays? Re: Publishing GPIO state via MQTT on bootup and timer
Hi.
Can you give me a sample rule which publishes the switch status or gpio status every 5 minutes?
I can't seem to get it work and there's no documentation on the 'publish' option in the rules section.
Many thanks, Andy.
