Can you give a hint or a description of the solution?

Re: 433MHZ key fob
Hi again,
another update - seems the key fob I have just needs to be treated somewhat special.
If I start sending "10;Eurodomest;000001;00;OFF:" multiple times before pressing the button that should learn the code, then it picks up the frame.
Go figure....

Re: 433MHZ key fob
Hi there, well it works better, but still not 100% - I can not get it to pair all the different buttons. Guess it is the remote that has the problem - anyone that can recommend a different remote. It has to be small and cheap - I plan to strip it from the case, and build it into a standard wall sock...

Re: 433MHZ key fob
Hi DA-Makes,
sounds very much like what I'm seeing - will try the Tristate command, when I get off work.
Thanks for the reply....

Re: 433MHZ key fob
Hi again, seem like the keyfob is quite sensitive how long the button is being pressed. (the learned code is "20;58;Chuango;ID=800081;SWITCH=02;CMD=ON;" - send by the RFLink, A short press followed by a longer press gives this debug output; 20;7B;DEBUG;Pulses=48;Pulses(uSec)=1500,420,1440,...

433MHZ key fob
Hi there, does anyone have any experience using the RFLink for putting codes into universal remotes as http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Universal-Cloning-Remote-Control-Key-Fob-Electric-Gate-Garage-Door-433mhz-/201454621099?hash=item2ee7a191ab:g:-CoAAOSw9r1V-TbO I can program a key, but when I "pl...

Re: Adding pins for softwareserial for ser2net
Hi there, yes I know - but then the built in USB/Serial might not work - the esp8266 might need to be removed during upgrade. It does not need to be a software port, a hardware port could be used as well. . If it is placed somewhere else, then the firmware just needs to forward the frames to the por...

Adding pins for softwareserial for ser2net
Hi there,
what about using two pins for software serial for attaching an esp8266 running ser2net - Then the normal USB connection would always work?

milight
Hi there, The RFLink looks very cool - I'm considering to buy it, but have some questions regarding your milight implementation - does it support all the milight/futligt bulbs, and does it do it at the same time receptionwise? I have spent some time looking into the milight protocol, and the differe...

Which pubsubclient library?
Hi there,
I am wondering if there are any major differences between the two pubsubclient libraries from imroy and knolleary - and why the knolleary has been chosen instead of the imroy that is being linked on the esp8266 github page?
Any thoughts?
Martin
