Re: New hackable ESP gadgets in local budget store "action" !!!

I found some more info and a tear-down of these devices on a the German forum mikrocontroller.net . It seams that the OTA update with Tuya-convert has been disabled by Tuya with a new firmware and these devices would have the new update. Also some of these devices don't have the esp8266 or esp8285 c...

Re: Doubleclick on Shelly1

Playing with these setting with an increment of 50 (0-250ms) made no difference until I tried a double double click. After some more checking a triple click does register already. Would this be a bug in the double click option with active on both high and low?

Doubleclick on Shelly1

I just received 2 shelly's (1 switch type) and have flashed these with one of the latest nightly builds (ESP_Easy_mega-20190116_normal_ESP8266_1024.bin). Set the switch and some rules to operate the relays, all working fine. Next on my list is to enable the doubleclick feature to assign a different ...

Re: Wall switch with mechanical button?

I just ordered a couple of Shelly devices, they should fit behind a normal switch. They can be flashed with ESP-Easy. This way your normal mechanical switch remains.

Since a couple of releases the reference to the irc channel is removed from the firmware. However with the current forum outages it might be advisable to add and start using it again. Also as psy0rz mentioned it can be quite usefull for brainstorming sessions and maintenance for the documentation (w...

Re: bug in switch plugin about "inversed" option?

You are using an input plugin (switch) and are switching the output using the GPIO command. For GPIO commands there is no option to inverse the output, 1 is high and 0 is low.

Re: Avoid of sending first data from dummy-device to controller after reboot

You could disable sent to controller on the dummy device and use the publish commend in your rules. That way you make sure it is only sent after an update.

Re: Button to toggle RGB leds

PS: I've just noticed that on line-3 you have TaskValueSet 3,1,0 and on line-6 you have TaskValueSet,3,1,([Var#Color]+1) i.e. one with a space and one with a comma. I'm clutching at straws and trying all sorts of combinations to get this rule working. Yes on another forumtopic I saw a comment (from...

The Node-RED flow (which I can post if anyone is interested) just decodes a decimal counter to drive three MQTT Out nodes that opearte the three LEDs.
Hi David, please post your Node-RED flow, I'm interested to see this one.
