Re: Ibutton support?

iButtons are usually 1-wire interface, the same as the 1-wire thermometers (DS18b20).

I do wish ESPEasy had better generic 1-wire support, including support for the 1-wire GPIO chip.

Sonoff LED Dimmer teardown

Hi, today I received the Sonoff LED Dimmer (with the LED strips) and I thought I would share the photos of the inside for you. Interestingly the build quality isn't as good as I expected from the original Sonoff switches. Next step is loading ESPeasy! http://www.orbit.me.uk/index.php/articles-all/14...

Re: UK power socket with HF-W02 module

Okay, that's frustrating, I applied the esp_init_data_default and flipped the 30 byte at the right address but it didn't help!

I wasn't planning on building an image myself but I might have to try it now!

Re: UK power socket with HF-W02 module

thanks!

I'll give that a go when I get a chance, hex edit to the byte location and flip the bit. It's a shame that we'll have to do that each time but not exactly painful.

Re: UK power socket with HF-W02 module

Funnily enough just last week I discovered the very same about a couple of plugs I've had for months. Having same probs with flashing though. Flashes on but won't run.. It will run the demo arduino sketches though but the baud rate is different from what is set in code. The WiFi stuff also doesn't ...

UK power socket with HF-W02 module

Hi All, I was ordering from DX.com so I thought I would take a chance and order a TS-S18 UK smart plug hoping that it had an ESP8266 module inside and it does! http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_413778_4.jpg I've taken it apart and for your pleasure taken some pictures and put them in a Google a...

Re: DS2413 - One Wire Switch -

I would also really like this, I was thinking of doing something interesting with 1-Wire GPIO.

Re: New ESP gadget

is there somebody who modded the Sonoff ( 5 pin version) with an external antenna ? I'am having some issues with connecting a sonoff to the WiFi because it's build in a garden lamp ( made of iron : seems to give a farraday issue) You might get some inspiration by the work on adding an external ante...

Re: New ESP gadget

I've got two Sonoff WiFi modules and I loaded it with 1024kB R120. It starts up fine and I can get in to ESP_0, but I am struggling to get it to connect reliably to my wifi network. I have two networks, the main one it seems to connect to but I can't load the config pages reliably ("took too lo...
