Re: Recover the acess point boot

Hi,

you can shortcut RX and TX, and apply power on your ESP8266.

Cut power, remove the link between RX and TX, and apply power again.
This will enable you to retrieve access to ESP0.

Re: Flashing problem (nodemcu)

Hi,

try this flasher : https://github.com/nodemcu/nodemcu-flasher (Win32 or Win64 release)

I had problems for flashing with included flasher, but this one seems to work as expected.
Good luck ;)

Re: Max Number of tasks / devices on WEMOS D1 mini R147RC8

Hi,

you're using ESP Easy Mega ?
System config:
SW - 147RC8 - Mega
HW - WEMOS D1 mini
Temp Sensors DS18b20
Controller FHEM HTTP
If so, did you find the source code ? Some people here are looking for it...

OK, I see...

Maybe a watchdog-style script on the Domoticz side, which is triggered periodically by the ESP switch info. If your ESP is offline or so, the script will do something, e.g. warn you...

Hi,
Ok that´s all for now. If you are interested in more details I can make a video with the compilation process and how it runs all together ...
And it would be possible to share my code on Github.

Re: Domoticz-espeasy-relay

Hi, if you still have a free contact on your relay, you can use it to pull a GPIO to ground, and create a switch input device. Monitoring that switch on Domoticz will show you the *true* state of your relay. If no free contact remains, it's possible to monitor the mains supply across the boiler heat...

Re: Realy board dimming [ Dombo ]

Hi, if I understand what you mean, you want to use a (second) relay to dim the light, the first relay is used for on/off ? You can do that easily, with a diode. The downside : it works only with incandescent lamps (not with fluo, and with led lamps, they may flicker, so you'll have to try...) With t...

Re: esp8266 newbie problems

Hi jimd,

you're using the wrong value (14065) for IDX. This is an internal value used by Domoticz (named ID on top of column).
You have to use the IDX value (second column), which in your case is 21.

It should work, now... ;)

Re: OLED Scrolling Display

Hi all, @ namirda I love your plugin. I use it as replacement for the 'standard' OLED plugin. I would like to use it with a SH1106 based 1.3" OLED, but it doesn't work. Garbage on screen, only few lines on top & bottom are readable. I'm able to compile the source code, butI don't know how t...

Re: WARNING: Potential ESP brick issue with deepsleep!!

Does it mean the ESP write something in flash memory at every reboot ??? :o

As I understand deep sleep, the chip is reset by internal timer, just like a "classical" reboot ?

Framed OLED with SH1106

Hello, I would like to use a 1.3″ SH1106 128×64 OLED display with the Framed OLED plugin. Re: Gemtek Technology

Hi,

as I can see, the MAC address for 192.168.0.13 has changed. It means the IP 192.168.0.13 is not attached to your ESP anymore.
If you use DHCP on your router as IP server, you have to set a static address to your ESP, so it will never change.

You can use static addressing on the ESP, too.

Re: ESP-01 Problem

Hi, to send an order to a relay, you don't need any device. The http://... you use is sufficient. Look at your power supply. When relay activates, it may produce some glitches on the supply rails, hanging the ESP unit. If you did it by yourself (not a already-made relay board) don't forget to put a ...

Re: ESP Easy: ESP8266 R147

You're absolutely right. 5V can damage the ESP chip. But you have removed the jumper before connecting 5V (to pin 3 I hope ?) In that case, no damage to GPIO pin. ESP8266 datasheet specify an operating voltage between 3.0 and 3.6V. Most regulators used on boards output 3.3V, so GPIO are able to deal...

OK, this is a ready-to-use relay board.
I don't think you can damage your ESP with that kind of board.

Maybe your ESP has internal failure ?...

Anyway, you can find older releases here : https://sourceforge.net/projects/espeasy/files/

Re: Problem with Wifi Settings

Hi, if serial access is still available, you can try to factory reset your ESP. Just type 'Reset' (without quotes) followed by CTRL-J to put the ESP back to factory settings. It will activate the AP mode (ESP_0 with password configesp) and allow access to IP 192.168.4.1 Another solution is to reflas...

Re: ESP Easy: ESP8266 R147

Hi, first check your power supply. ESP chip may need more current (some peaks at about 300mA, not easy measurable with a multimeter, because very short). A poor supply could cause ESP failures. You seem to have problems after trying to activate a relay. The current needed by the relay coil may cause...
