Any ETA on support for those devices?

DS18b20 hard reset ?

Hi, I have a couple of esp8266's in service, running espeasy (one is version R120 and the other is version mega-20180809) where from time to time the DS18b20 connected to it will apparently become unresponsive, leaving espeasy reporting the same temperature indefinitely, regardless of how ambient be...

Data change trigger?

Hi,

Is it possible to set up a device so as that it only reports to the mqtt broker, when it's state changes?

Thanks.

branch into tall grass?

Hi, I am playing with an ESP12 module and an OLED SSD1306. It all seems to work except that when I edit a line in the 1306 task and submit I, more often that not, get a branch into tall grass and the need for a hard reset to make the new text appear on the display. Is this a known bug? Build 20102 -...

https://img.staticbg.com/thumb/large/2014/xiemeijuan/06/SKU220333/SKU220333a.jpg On this style of esp adaptor board, am I safe to assume that the 3 resistors are gpio pull ups / downs for proper boot state? I can't find a schematic of these boards anywhere, can anyone point me to one? Thanks, Brian...

mqtt event logging?

I have various esp's gathering data around my home and sending to my own mosquitto based mqtt broker. What I'd like is a means of automatically logging select mqtt traffic to .csv or .xls files somewhere on my lan. This is the closest I have come to what I am looking for Steve's MQTT DataLogger but ...

DST R120 ?c

None of my R120 ESP's seemed to have changed their time for the DST transition overnight.

In version R120, is it intended that I manually toggle the ADVANCED/DST check box when the DST time change occurs?

Otherwise, is there a default DST time change date that I need to wait for?

Thanks,

Re: ebay sonoff devices?

Thanks for the suggestion Dave but I doubt I'd be any more successful flashing Tasmoda onto these devices as the flash process it self seems to be broken.

I think at least one of them is headed for the bin out back.

ebay sonoff devices?

Hi, I bought a couple of simple sonoff devices on eBay recently. I have flashed many and various generic ESP8266 (IE non Sonoff) devices and have 16 running in the house at the moment, so I have a bit of experience here. These two sonoffs are a different kettle of fish however. The first one took ma...

Re: time server

Well, it has happened again, same unit. This time cycling the power did nothing to correct the clock. I changed NTP servers and did a soft reboot and that cleared it up this time. I suspect a hardware fault of some kind with this particular ESP. FWIW, here is what the logs said just after I re estab...

I just found one of my espeasy esp8266 clock's set to 1970 01 01, despite being NTP enabled with a known good NTP server address supplied. 24 hours ago this unit was sane and I was relying on it to turn on a patio light at sunset, which worked last night but not this evening. I'm playing with espeasy on an esp3 module. I have an Arduino Nano connected and working as a ProMiniExtender (PME) . I am successfully reading a potentiometer value via the PME. Threshold for analog input signal on ProMiniExtender?

Hi,

Is there a way, in ESPeasy, that I can setup a 'rule' to establish a threshold for an analog input signal sensed by the ProMiniExtender?

I'd like to take action, when the PME analog signal goes above say 1/3 of full scale.

Some pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ok, I think I found the solution involving 'RULES'. Seems to work and boots up fine regardless of switch condition. Thanks for list...

Hi, I understood that the esp8266 gpio boot modes truth table was as follows: https://cdn.instructables.com/FT4/3DPW/ICE0BBHM/FT43DPWICE0BBHM.LARGE.jpg .............which seems to imply that holding gpio2 low during boot is not an issue. This however is not my experience and I read herein that poste...
