I'd say it's "catch 22", we need the help from the community to advertise as well... we're knee deep into staying afloat and the feature requests are piling up. What more can be asked of a person... We are not doing it because lack of funding. We are pursuing money be helping companies use ESP Easy. They are mostly using 4MB and bigger... We simply need to get cash to put food on the table. Sorry for misleading you. We have updated how the serial is handled but not the way you wanted. I have returned to 100% working, and TD-er is doing projects to get money. We have very little money/time at the moment. That being said, thank you 105 Patreons who's paying average $3 each month.

Haven't read all your posts (on my phone), but wifi connect means just that - the wifi is connected. It doesn't mean your MQTT broker is connected. Use a LED and control it with the GPIO command and you'll see.

Re: Any way to check if a device exists - in a rule?

You can have up to 4 pages of code which will work as "one page". The events could equal to 1, 10, 100, 1000 depending on which unit or units are available. Given that your unit have a DS18b20 and one bme280 the sum reported would be 1010. And you could activate reports of values based on these codes?

Re: Any way to check if a device exists - in a rule?

Since the events of the devices will never trigger if it's not set up you could do it like this instead: On dht22#temperature Do TaskValueSet,11,1,[dht22#temperature] TaskValueSet,11,2,[dht22#humidity] EndOn On ds18b20#temperature Do TaskValueSet,11,1,[ds18b20#temperature] EndOn On bmp280#temperatur...
