Re: rule and event within rule syntax

Both comma and space are allowed but preferred is comma.

You can have up to four event values.

Event=1,2,3,4

Use in the block:

%eventvalue1%
...
%eventvalue4%

But for backwards compatibility you don't need the number if you only have one event value.

Event=1

%eventvalue%

Re: BIG announcement, the future of ESP Easy. [READ THIS IF YOU LOVE OUR FW]

I'd say we're in the FF (feature freeze) for a new stable. So before the end of the year we'd most likely (finally) release a official stable.

Soon after that we hope to release the new GUI.

What the official version number we'll use is still under debate.

ThingSpeak wants you to send in 15s intervals. You need to have the interval set to 15000.

Must be:

Code: Select all

on ds18b20#Temperature do

   event,SetTemp

EndOn
you are not operating on the content ( conent is with []), but on the event that ds18b20#Temperature is updated , so no [] there

You should call an event from the switch#switch event. That way you can easily call that event using any way you want.

Since you're only interested in one value you can use the individual interval. But if you want to get ALL the values you should use the TTL since that one is suggesting when the next value will be updated.

Yes that works but it will fetch the value once every second even if you have the interval of the sensor set to once per 10, 30 or 60 seconds.

I suspect the first / is what is causing your problem. Try to remove that from your settings of the controller. Or make sure that MQTT Lens is subscribing to that empty first level.

You cannot do if and formula at the same time/line.

Code: Select all

on System#Sleep do
  Let,1,%unixday_sec%
endon

Time#Initialized Do
 Let,2,%unixday_sec%-%v1%
 Event,timeisset
EndOn

on timeisset do
  if %v2% < 600
    //WAKE FROM EVENT
  else
    //WAKE FROM timer

Use the same command "event" as you do with the http command. Try to never use GPIO directly, always try to use events.
