Generic HTTP Controller DNS Hostname
I am having some trouble with the generic http controller. I got everything configured and it all works, but the problem is that the controller (wunderground) changes ips frequently. That is why I put a hostname instead of an ip. espeasy seems to resolve the dns to ip, but only when the controller i...

Re: How to connect by hostname ?
I have been using the connect by hostname option for several weeks without trouble. This week things quit working. I am pretty sure my trouble came from the hostname lookup seems to only happen when the controller is configured. In my case the ip of the host changed. More details of my configuration...

Re: How to connect by hostname ?
I ran into a similar problem because I had included https:// in the hostname. When I removed that everything worked.

Re: Http get request

Http get request
I would like to generate a http get request to submit a temperature to weather underground.

I searched around a bit but couldn't find an example of sending a get request. Is this possible?
Thanks for the help,
Ryan

Re: SONOFF TOUCH - Did you see it?
Did you flash a compiled download version? Touch is not a esp8266...you need to flash with the source code as esp8265. Oh thank you. I just used the same compiled download version of R120 I used for the sonoff relay. I thought the only difference was the onboard memory. I will give compiling a try....

Re: SONOFF TOUCH - Did you see it?
Nothing else. Works very fine! I have tried to flash R120 to a touch. All seems to go fine, but when I reboot I don't ever see the AP to connect to. Any suggestions? I have tried both 512 and 1024. I kept gpio 0 low during boot and all appears like I have had good results with on the basic sonoff m...
