Ah i didnt know there was some handywork involved.
Still i might script those changes so that we at least have an automated build to test up testing and development.
We also have an ugly PUYA workaround/patch in the system currently.

Which version of ESPEasy are you using? I've tested this with the latest mega and v2.0, and i was able to set the bootstate of GPIO 0 to both low and high. (and it would give the correct signal)

We cannot fix that bug i think, the fix needs to be done in the arduino/esp core libraries.
Also if you patch your accesspoint you should be fine i think? Thats what i did with my unifi accesspoints.
