Did you ever get a chance to work on this? i have a need to run a PWM output to a device that specifies 67-93Hz or 127-199Hz . also, it sounds like you're trying to send commands *to* the esp via MQTT. you'll need the MQTT-Import plugin for that.

My units have been dropping MQTT about once a day for many days now but I've never checked for the 0.0.0.0
