I was just reading through this thread and in the first post you mention a Wemos D1 mini and now this one. Are there more boards with this problem? No the problem that I found was only this board, was thinking this is a Wemos D1 board (but clearly not), but now I'am 100% sure, where thinking about ...

Re: Cant connect after update mega-20180822

Hmm this looks strange, your DNS is set to 0.0.0.0 and it reports an IP-address, but also stating it is using DHCP. Yes a bit strange but DNS is not used, so should not be a problem, dhcp gives the same IP as the later manual inserted IP address. What was the version used before this one? Version m...

Re: ESP active but webpages not reachable after some time

Looks like (not sure) the 1000UF condensator is helping a bit, but the main issue is still there, found more ppl with the same problem. More Info https://github.com/nodemcu/nodemcu-firmware/issues/578 So i guess the issue is only on Nodemcu ? If I ping the ESP the whole day,...the issue is gone, but...

Rules not in backup file ?

I just restored a ESP from the backup.dat file, everything is in, except the rules, not sure if this is normal, because you can make a manual backup of the rules1.txt (under Tools > Flash > click on rules1.txt to make a backup)

Notifcations, controllers, devices, config, etc are in the backup.

Hehe, now trying youre solution on one ESP, guess this should also work fine.

On System#Boot do

On Rules#Timer=1 do
WifiDisconnect
WifiConnect
TimerSet,1,7200

Why not an easy esp look, for the front end, and simple scripts or programs at the backend ?

Then we would had an easy config webbased tool, for switching, temp, etc on a PI, would be nice to be compatible for the Rasbarry and Orange PI's.
