I think this is solved: Mosquitto does not seem to like the / at the beginning of a topic.
In the Advanced menu, remove the first / at the start of the MQTT topics

Thanks with your help on this - I didnt have notifications on so I forgot to reply.
Now using r78 which has it working.

I am using a simple mode - just pulse counting to OpenHab MQTT using GPIO12

The problem is that the user interface (and code) seems to hang just after starting. I cant login to the esp.
I have the correct IP address for the esp and MQTT.

Anyone have this working?

I'd like to see support for this too!

It would be great to have the option for MQTT Username and Password on the config screen. All of my servers use passwords....
