Re: Writing to InfluxDB from HTTP Advanced controller?

If you use my flow to store the data without modification, you have to adjust the mqtt topic (cause this defines most parameters for the influxdb insert statement).
If you cannot change the mqtt topic, you have to adapt the change node to your needs...

Maybe you can you provide a sample message...

Re: Writing to InfluxDB from HTTP Advanced controller?

@water: there is nothing to sort, when you store data in the database Also your sql select is a little confusing, cause you have the humidity data from a dht22 in the table "dust sensor". In order to help you, you should export your current flow and describe exactly what you want to achieve.

Re: Writing to InfluxDB from HTTP Advanced controller?

@water: the flow from @spachal is in quotes instead of code tags and the forum modifies such strings somehow.

You could also try to reconstruct his flow - only the 3 nodes: mqtt -> function -> request. Code and settings you can see in his export.

Re: Writing to InfluxDB from HTTP Advanced controller?

@drum: for more data, i would vote for influxdb (the built-in downsampling ability is really nice) in combination with grafana. Also, it's not common to save everything in one table or to store aggregated/min/max values (usually done with queries). @spachal: Nice sample for beginners. Consider that,...

Re: Writing to InfluxDB from HTTP Advanced controller?

Can you tell me how you used node-red mqtt and influxdb ?
In node-red you have an mqtt-in node, where you get the values from the esp's.
Now you prepare the data for influxdb with a change or function node and finally connect it to the influxdb node (has to be installed over palette).

The command to change the frequency is "pcafrq".

Do you tried it with a gpio instead of the pca9685?

Interesting sensor... I dont know if the library is really necessary (because of complexity)? If not, my idea would be to have a generic "interface scripting plugin", which would allow to read, write, and manipulate data on different interfaces (i2c, spi, serial, etc). The script only woul...

So you want to use n receivers for n switches instead of only one rf gateway module for all switches?
Then you would need an esp on every receiver location.

trying to get a 1-1 solution without gateways
This is imho not possible, cause the esp cant receive the rf signals from the switches without additional hardware (and this module is called "gateway" https://www.elv.at/raspberry-pi-enocean-modul.html)

Re: Trying to make an auto-adjusting light timer

- just add another rule to turn the light on at a certain time - a reboot also resets the internal clock - so after a power outage the esp needs an ntp server, which means you could turn on the light with a script running on your router or somewhere else in your network - use a light sensor with an ...

Re: ESPeasy Mega running on Sonoff Basic - Bad Behaviour

This version works for me with a reed switch on gpio-13: v2.0.0-dev12 I would suspect a hardware problem - to exclude that, the tests should first happen without switching a heavy inductive load (like a big water pump). Maybe even not with a sonoff, but rather a nodemcu or wemos board with a good po...

If there are already 2 devices involved, a router or wifi problem will also cause a failure...also if the measurement device does not work anymore. The esp easy R120 shows the value of the hc-sr04 sensor with 2 decimal numbers in the log, but the transmitted mqtt value (openhab) is only integer.
Can this be solved via a configuration change?
