Re: Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

I say: continue with your local version. You started it and it worked great. Why wait for some unknown user that teared your code apart?

Re: Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

Too bad, all this hassle. It works great the way it is now. Why did someone just change that much of your code?
In your place I should revert back to my original code. If the other user wants to change it, let him develop his own version.
Thank you for all the effort you put into it.

Re: Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

For those using the 8-digit display could you put two values together, for example temperature and humidity? Thank you again for the work you are doing. Thanks to your work I'm creating a bedroom object rack.Only a question, as regards the text will it be possible to merge it in the same string of ...

Re: Last couple of Mega firmwares don't work anymore

Thanks for the effort! I would like to, but I don't know where to start. I normally only flash the compiled results. I did however browse the code you changed and I noticed you did not change the "ESP_Easy-0" back to "ESP_Easy_0". I know that's not the cause of the problem, but w...

Last couple of Mega firmwares don't work anymore

I noticed that the last few versions of the ESPEasy Mega firmware don't work anymore. After flashing there is a different SSID, which is called ESP_Easy-0 instead of ESP_Easy_0 (a very subtle difference). I have not succeeded to enter the login page to setup my own network. I tried different version...

Re: Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

It works!!!
The EndOn must have been the problem.
Or maybe the style of coding.
Anyway, it works now and I'm very glad it does.
Thank you for your help!

Re: Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

I'm trying to get the temperature from a sensor that's on the same ESP. I have never used rules before, just don't know how to get them working. Anyway, I tried and did this: - Switch the TM1637 to manual mode - The Temparature sensor is called 'TempPres' - I switched on rules and created this rule:...

ESPEasy and the Witty Cloud Board

The Witty cloud board is another ESP8266 clone with a built in Fotosensor and RGB LED (as shown HERE)
I have one and flashed it with ESPEasy, but I can't control these built in devices. Anybody who has one up and running with ESPEasy and willing to share how to address the devices?

Re: Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

O, that's great! I really want to try it.
I must admit that I don't know how to test it though. I know how to flash my unit and how to upgrade to new versions/ test versions of the software, but I have never added a new plugin.
I can't find how to do it... Can you tell where to find that?

I guess it's difficult to please everyone... I'm not that keen about the blinking myself.
I'm the guy that also switches off display of seconds when possible...
But I'm sure others will disagree!

Re: Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

Ronald, just out of interest.. Why do you like to have the C or F ? Do you live in a multi temperature country? Do they exist? As well. if you do see 60 or 22 you can assume the F or C. I find it a "waste" of display.. ( no hard feelings please :-) ) Greetings Frank Ha ha, you're right Fr...

Re: Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

If you can't get it show a letter it's no problem for me. But if you do get this working it would be nice to have only the bottomdigit lit (tot show fractions) and a 'C' for Celcius or 'F' for Fahrenheit too. I know there are single digits one can connect too. I once read an article of someone who ...

Connecting a TM1637 4-Digit Display

I ordered a TM1637, Arduino compatible, 4-Digit Display hoping to connect it to a ESP8266 with ESP-Easy, but I can't figure out how to do it.
It's obviously not listed as a compatible device. Has anyone figured out how to connect it, maybe?
It's here for instance.

Newbie question about Deep Sleep

I just started with this stuff, so I apologize if I ask questions that are too obvious... I have a Lolin NodeMcu V3, flashed with ESP Easy, and it works ok. I hooked up a Temperature & Humidity sensor, a DHT 22, to GPIO-14, wired it to 3V, Ground and D5 and included a 4.7 K Ohm resistor between ...
