There is nothing connected, i only use it as a dummy device, switch it on/off externally and check in a ruie the switch state Also pull-up is disabled in settings Could it be there is a bug and i destroyed the pin using it as input and output the same time ? Maybe OffTopic, but why don´t you use a cheap android phone instead a nextion display, price is not much higher, you get it incl. a housing, resolution is better.

Open parallel to the web page the debug output, you´ll see the difference
(for example when heating up a temperature sensor)

On these boards, the LDR is connected to the ADC pin, but the resistors are wrong, so you don´t get changing values if you want to measure daylight
Add a 10KOhm Resistor between ADC Pin and +3.3V, then it should work

The MCP23017 has a internal pull-up to 3,3V of about 100 KOhm
If you want to have it permanently low, you need to add a pull-down resistor between GPIO and Ground.
Try with 4.7 or 10 KOhm

now with unshielded 1½ meter wires.
That`s why it works, the cable doesn´t have to be shielded, but you need a certain distance between ESP and PIR
Most critical, in my experience, is if the PIR sits in front of the ESP

but looks like a problem with url-encoding
Try to send %20 instead of the space, or maybe even +20

So, instead of "this is a sentence" try "this%20is%20a%20sentence"

but the server rejects it because it´s send like:

you are thinking the wrong way - why not always reading the temperature but only doing something when the pump is running ?
